I wanted to install my lowering spring on my 2001 mustang gt. does anyone know a good mechanic/person that can do it for a reasonable price?

it pretty easy to do, jack up the car remove the struts slide in the springs on the front, on the rear disconnect the rear sway bar, ( if you still have it) and install

theres alot of tutorials online if you thought about doing it...i went that route and its preeeety easy if you have the right tools.

Wrong!! Unbolt the schocks n the rear and let the rear end drop

+1 no to mention you have to unbolt the sway bar end links and calipers in the front.

Honestly id rather do it myself than pay 150 for a simple job. even my boy with minimal mechanical skills was able to figure this one out. but if not theres a place in fremont they work on jeeps but hes also good with mustangs.. forget what its called but if you pm I can get u the address he does it for 150

jus a FYI maximum motorsports has very detailed install instruction with pictures and torque specs on their website for all suspension components for a mustang and that applies to different brands just a thought
they have great directions on how to install lowering springs;
