I need to replace my tires soon and would appreciate any suggestions/recommendations on what tires to buy based on your personal experience. My car is a 93 notchback with 17" 4-lug 03 cobra style rims. Car currently sits on stock suspension but I will be lowering the car in about 2-3 weeks from now. Also I use it as a dd so looking for street style tire. Any input will help, thanks

I personally like the BFGoodrich KDWs. Best bang for your buck and they perform well.

As Nick mentioned BFG KDW2's are bad ass but they're on the expensive side. I currently ride on Toyo Proxes 4 N I've done burnouts like no tomorrow ran at the track with them N daily drove on them for about a year N there's still a whole lotta meat on those.

I have Hankook V12s on my 67. 245/45/17 flavor on all 4 corners. i'll be ordering 2 more rims. same height, but a little more width. ( unfortunately, hankook doesn't make a 275/40/17 v12 ) but regardless, i have no complaints about them. They have pretty bad tramlining on the highways here in sacramento, but thats the only con.

Continental DW. If you can get your hands on them. They sell like hot cakes.
