I built a 347 with World products heads, Edelbrock intake, 1.7 rockers, 30lbs inj, B-cam, BBk headers, 3in exhaust. The headers glow after driving it for about 15 minutes. TPS motorsports dino tuned the car 3 times to make sure all the fuel ratios, timing, etc are where they are supposed to be. The exhaust is huge and unrestrictive. Any ideas what could be going on?

That's odd. I was gonna say timing. Just out of curiosity, what's the average temp when warmed up? After market gauge or stock?

Temp is cool. It doesn't run hot at all. The gauge is stock but works good. The headers do NOT glow on the dino. Only after freeway for 10-15 min. Harmonic balancer is a new Cloys hex adjust and hasn't slipped. The car runs fast strong with no running issues.

Advance your initial timing and back down your total timing to compensate for the increase of initial timing.

Then hoook a wideband up to it and see what is happening when you actually drive it. Very odd that it didnt happen on the dyno when timing and AFRs were monitored/set to where they need to be....

+1
Cruising AFR should be around 14.0-15.0.. but even 17.0s cruising wouldn't cause glowing red headers. WOT AFR should be anywhere from 12.4-13.0 with an NA setup
