I got a freshly built 306 with probe forged pistons,351 jr Windsor heads 180cc and 64cc with 1.6 rockers,e303 cam, and gt40 tubular with 24lb injectos 70mm tb and spacer basiclly that's all Wana get the most out this lil motor and Wanted to see if ill be ok with 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 shortys I still Wana be smog legal so what's recomended guys ur input would really be appreciated

I was told by some old man that did my motor from day one according to specs 345 hp sounds about good I'm not trying to fly just wanted some faster than stock and wanted it to run as smooth ass possible with out problems.

3" is to big for your set up. Until you get into deep breathing strokers and the like, you don't need 3" exhaust.

That 3 inch exhaust probably sounds good but its killing your low and mid torque,guaranteed.Your car would feel noticeably better with 2-1/2". [ December 05, 2012, 11:07 PM: Message edited by: 50DADDY ]
