has anybody ever done it? anything other than the intake and gasket I need? looking to do it on my 96 gt soon cause mine is cracked and leaking. and jegs has the intake for 190 cheaper than summit any info is appreciated thanks

thanks some say it will and some say it won't I wanna know what other parts am I gonna need in order to do it other than the intake its self.

All you need is the intake and gasket set (PI type). Put gasket sealant around the mismatched water jackets. Make sure you use a stock, not reproduction intake. Repro intakes have gaskets formed in them, making it tough to seal correctly.

There is a company that makes cnc adapter plates. I would swap to pi heads, that's gonna be your biggest gain. You can find a set of heads fairly cheap also.

Installing the PI intake and PI cams is alot of bang for the buck.

kool thanks guys I was thinking of going with the ford racing intake. I was gonna order it from summit or jegs
@JohnB is that pi pipe the pipe that goes under the intake(between heads and intake)? and can I get that like autozone, pep boys, kragens or whatever it's called now?

You do not need to change the transfer tube. Your current one will work.
