Im currently swapping a 95 5.0 and 5 speed into my 66 mustang, the problem Im having is the factory throttle linkage hits the bellhousing, do I need to modify this if so how? or do I need to go to a throttle cable instead of linkage?

if its the lower arm thats hanging down from the factory linkage, its the ori kick down for the auto. u can cut it off. i have the same set up in my 66, and everything clears great except the lower arm that had to be removed. it is all v8 stuff correct? 6 cly linkage will give u problems and will have to be removed and replaced for the v8 linkage.

the gas pedal rod will bend. go under the dash and pull up on the gas pedal until you get the clearance you need.
