Ok putting all the front steering gear back on my 88 box Chevy. I have a lot of nuts n bolts that have a lot of rust on them, so what's the quickest way to clean them??. Also have the steering pivot ARM, idler arms with rust on them too. I could get that sand blasted but what about everything else. Mostly surface rust from sitting outside for a year. Heard I should let the parts sit in some diesel

+1 on the wire wheel. Anytime I do brakes I clean the caliper bolts with a wire wheel to get the crud out. Works great Everytime
