hi need to know whats the best way to install these Energy Suspension motor mounts for my 1987 mustang
if anyone has a good link with pictures would be great.. or if u can let me know your experience on how to do it either up on a lift or just on ground with jackstands let me know please

All you need is to bolt from the accessories and put the chain from the back of the head to the opposite head in the front on an engine jack. Zap the bolts on the old mounts jack it up change them and sit her back down

Or you could unbolt it from the k member, they slowly jack up the motor with a 2x4 between jack and pan. But be careful and watch the oil pan so you dont dent it.

Hook a chain up to the factory lift brackets, use a cherry picker to raise the engine up. You'll have to unbolt your fan so it doesn't hit your fan shroud.

Ill say unbolt one motor mount frm the kmember jack up one side of ur motor then replace one at a time do the same to the other side to.an yes take ur fan off an also ur map sensor it seems to be in the way sometimes.

i did mine a couple weeks ago and all i did was roll the car up on race ramps, and lift from the oil pan with a block of wood and a jack

thanks for the ideas yall..
i put them in last night at my friends shop
put it on lift raised it up. put this long pole jack that can adjust height under the crank pully. airgun to unbolt the bolts. raise jack pull out mounts and put the new ones in and bolt them on. [ August 04, 2012, 10:08 PM: Message edited by: LiGhTSpEEd 5.0 ]

i need to change mine out, theyre shot! do you feel a big difference? more solid? i have some OE new vert motor mounts i need installed...
