Hey all so I appreciate honest help with this issue I have a fully built 4.6 forged crank pistons and rods, full bolt ons, full exhaust bbk shorties xpipe out stingers, gears flywheel clutch and tune next step is larger injectors and maf I really want to cam my car stage 2 however I have heard biased opinions! The first thing is obviously smog I plan on keeping this car long term so will I run into smog issues also I plan on running either nitrous or s/c in the future, is it worth the hp gains? All help is appreciated!

stage 1 would pass the sniffer, stage 2 idk if it'll pass sniffer maybe but smog tech hearing it idk, s/c you can pass bc most have a carb sticker on them

I think as long as your tune is spot on and you are running cats you'll be fine. My last setup was a forged stroker with ported heads and stage 2 blower cams w/ a vortech and a catted x-pipe and it passed the sniffer.
