so I've been having a little issue with my non mass aired 86. while i drive in cruise speeds or rpm range 1k-2k it backfires out the intake i believe, and i'm guessing out of the tailpipe trying to accelerate to catch up with traffic.Did major tune up,(plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter, oil) so any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Check your timing. Reset the TDC of the distributor. Best if you use a piston stop as well. Recheck your firing order...spark plug wire routing from distributor cap to each cylinder spark plug. Even a cracked spark plug ceramic.
..... You could have an aged distributor needing replacement.
Secondarily you will need to test your fuel pressure. Buy a repair manual to maybe guide you for both of these simple issues. Good luck....
