Sup guys and girls... so my cars been over heating for the past month or so. havnt driven it just turned it on to see if the problems still their. replaced thermostat.. new coolant.. thats about it. Then i turned the fan on by putting it on max ac or hot.. looked at the fan and it started doing like a grinding noise like a bolt is inside of it and then it started smoking.. i touched the radiator it was cold i touched behind the fan it was super hot.. could the problem be the fan motor? i also had to use hard force to turn it sometimes or pliers , Thats bad right? it should turn freely and easy as possible right? OP's ?

you need a new fan, available at any picknpull type junkyard for under 20 bucks, there's always a v6 there.
