Finally made it to the track and I was pleased with the car but feel like I should be able to get the mph up just a little. Could the stock catback on my 98 cobra really be hurting? It has those really shity flat bends in it by the rear wheels like look like they have to be constricting. Think a cat back would pick a up 1 or 2 mph and maybe a tenth or two?

no...but how about you post up your numbers so we can see where u need to improve.

if your 60 ft isnt less than a 1.9 than traction is your enemy

mph should be about 100 on a stocker

after that.....its like throwing knives down a dark hallway

13.10 from a stock '98 cobra seems good to me

102 mph is right on the mark

you could dip into the 12's with some mickeys all day long

I didn't say I wasn't happy with the times, I am just wondering if there is anything to be gained with a catback at all.

well if anything it will sound better, and be more of your own...as opposed to every other cobra out there with the stock exhaust.
