hey guys. my car is making a noise under the hood. i can only hear it when under some throttle. the blower is to loud to hear it at idle so my question is can i take the blower belt off and run the car with no problems? i was not sure if it would be safe with out the blower actually spinning.

Yes you can run it without the blower belt on, it might run a little rough or rich but you won't hurt anything.

Or it may not start at all if it can't pull any air through the blower, which is what happens if I took my belt of. It will crank, run for a second and die and won't come back.

All the cars I've pulled the blower belt off of to diagnose ran and drove.
