i have a 90 mustang gt with a problem with the speed not reading correctly, when i bought the car the speedometer read 10 MPH over what i was really going (everything ealse works just fine). so i thought it was the cluster, bought a nother one yesterday and same issue, can someone please helllllp me its driving me krazy to know what it is?

What about the trans? Was it previously an auto or vice versa?

its currently a auto but as far as if it has ever been changed iono, i do know that it was rebuilt tho! does this help?

I don't know if they could have done something during the rebuild to throw the speedo off. There is a possibility you don't have the right speedo gear inside of the trans.
