is it even worth it? i was gunna do it myself, just mess with the ports, and leave the dome alone.
but was told it would make them even worse than they are stock, but if i would leave them alone then my motor would perform even shittier since i have a cam.

Why not try a set of gt40 or gt40p heads , I've seen some great deals on here in the last month or so. The springs have to match the cam. If you do go that route though, I suggest bringing a straight edge and feeler gauge set just to make sure you know what extra machine shop costs might be involved. That pretty much goes for any set of used heads though.

the set of e7 your thinkin of porting prob need work as well, r they fresh out the machine shop from getting checked to be 1oo percent sure? i would prob the gt40p,s. they have to go to the machine shop to get cleaned. at least youll have a decent head your gonna haveta spend money on anyways.a vavle job isnt that much anyways, and the e7s dont have hardned seat, which the gt40 have stock.

around 170. do all the port work first, then take them the heads, so u have a finished product, those heads suffer greatly from the exaust bumps and behind the vavles in the heads, so u might need a spring tool or let the machine shop disassemble, then u pick them up do your port work, then bring them back so they can finish. gd luck

If you don't have the tools or not willing to spend the trial and error on doing shit wrong or right don't do it. Most likely you will Fuck them up. Time is money, and porting takes time and makes a big Fucking mess. Bits, air tools, valve springs etc.... it adds up fast!!! I would just buy a set of used trick flows, Lee has some for sale in the for sale forum.
