I was all set to buy some 4.10s this week but I am thinking I am going to supercharge the car. Stock in mine are 3.27s. I really haven't had a lot of expirence with supercharged cars before. What gears do most of you run? Thanks

3.55s to 3.73s are ideal

98 cobra, just the simple bolt ons, with a Kenne bell 2.1 at 6-8psi

what trans? depending, i personally like 373's but you will be happy with 355's

Stay with the 3.27 on any boosted motor i personally like to keep some gear, youll keep the motor under a load.

3:27 gears will work if you don't run taller than a 26" tire if you have a good clutch, otherwise the clutch won't last.

I think because of the fact that I am going to run a Kenne Bell and they are heavy on torque on the low end. I am going to stay with the stock 3.27s and see how that goes. I can always do a gear swap afterwards.

i was running 4:11' with 8lbs of boost. 1st and second gear really didnt pull that hard because you were just getting boost and had to shift. Im running 370's now and i have use of all my gears. I havent gotten the car to the track to see if it lowered my et's though.
