I've been looking for disc brakes for my stang for a min now an I've heard different things, I've been told 87-95 front disc will work long as I have the spindles an everything, I've also heard the same about a 95-96 crown Victoria & a 88 Mark 7 Lol I'm unsure so if you know which is true let.me know ASAP please

Check out Mustangsteve's kit. Uses the 68 spindles and late model Ford brake parts. Vintage Venom makes a similar kit.

i dont think that works, by just swaping out spindles. His car is a 68. I think ur best bang for ur buck is from here http://www.discbrakeswap.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_images.tpl&product_id=418&category_id=1#d

yeah you can use your spindles, but it will require an aftermarket bracket.
Here is a bigger better setup than the other kit i posted. http://www.vintagevenom.com/

my bad just realized the year was in the post heading.
not sure what all that was people were telling you. not sure if you are looking to do the front or rear. but
as far as the front goes there are various bracket kits you can get from these places:
http://www.mustangsteve.com/cobrabrakes.html
http://www.vintagevenom.com/
http://www.streetortrack.com/Street-or-Track-13-Front-Disk-Brake-Kit-for-DRUM-spindles-pr-23824.html
there is one other place and im drawing a blank on it right now. but either of those places above will allow you to use some variation of SN95 front and rear brake and or some of the newer GT mustang brakes along with some cobra stuff.
for the back you will find on those sites a kit which allows a sn95 Gt or cobra rear rotor and caliper. keep in mind all these kits above will tell you minimum wheel size for your brakes such as the 13" cobras need atleast a 17" to clear.
the other options you have are :
Go Granada disc which I dont recommend because with stock height mustangs it induces more "bump steer" and if you lower it , it gets worse from there.
OR
go with a stock style conversion kit and at that point the best two places I've found that have the best deals IMO are:
http://www.discbrakeswap.com/
and this guy who goes by CHOCO Mustangs. he is back east somewhere if I remember right and has an Ebay store, some cars on you tube and if you look hes also on the vintage-mustang site.with all that if you look you will find someway to contact him.
But about a year and a half ago he had big bearing disc kits mounted on the 70 spindles(which will work fine on your car) for $500 spindles included!

depends on what your doing? newer mustang GT brakes will work too. you pretty much have to ask your self what size wheels your running? or if your willing to buy new wheels after the conversion. then you have to figure out what you want to spend. i want to only spend this? or I really want 13" cobra brakes and i'll spend the few extra bucks! I should be more clear the only sn95 front setup ive seen the brackets etc for is the cobra.

yeah your going to need to figure out some wheels before buying anything. if you can atleast get some 15's those kits from csrp will work out pretty good. Or save up for some 17"+ wheels and you'll be good to go.

I have the Vintage Venom kit with the 99-04 cobra caliper 13" brake kit conversion. I haven't Done it yet because my 69 is still in the paint booth. but from what I hear VV is pretty good only thing with that kit is it comes with a spacer that sits between the hub and rotor.
Also, you can still use ur original disc dual master cylinder if not you can use the 99-04 master cyl But, you have to re-direct the brake tubes since the flanges are facing the engine side and not the frame.
If I were to do it all over again, I would go with the Kesley Hayes brake setup, its cheaper and its a 4piston caliper. u use the 11" rotor but its still works well. the Boss 302 T/A had these.
