I have this weird idle issue that only seems to happen after i finish using the heater. First its a 03 GT Auto Trans off road xpipe.

After i shut off the heater and drive roughly 5 miles or so while in D when at a stop light my idle will surge from 500 to 1000 rpm and just jumps up and down like it wants to die but it dont.

If i shift the car to nuetral it goes away like nothing is wrong. I have cleaned out the MAF and replaced it with a good unit from my brother inlaw who just installed a Procharger but same problem. If i dont use the the heater the car does not do this. The car drives well like nothing is wrong while driving..
