Im rebuiling my 302 and im upgrading the cam im thinking of going with the trick flow stage 1 cam the basic operating rpm range is 2,500 - 6,000. The E303 B.O.R.R. is 2,500 - 5,500. There price range is a ten dollar difference with trick flow being a lower price cam. Im looking to also add the trick flow intake in twisted wedge heads but the heads will most likey wait until after the gaskets break in cause i dont have the money at the moment.

Cams: Trick flow Stage 1 cam , E 303 Cam
Rockers: Trick flow 1.6 Rockers , Crane Cam 1.7
Intake Manifold: Holley Intake , Trick Flow Intake, Edelbrock Rpm 2

Keep in mind this is a 302 block not a 306 or stroker

Which Set up will give me a good amount of power
and be my daily driver?

weather you have a 302/306-327 ect....the block will blow up around 500hp because its still a 302 block how ever you put it.

i just got my 302 rebuilt recently by turbo50 and ssf50..

tfs 1 cam
gt40heads with 1.72 crane rr
typhoon intake (edelbrock rpm)
hardened push rods
stock bottom end with new rings bearings and polished/balanced crank.

i had an e303 b4 and it gassed out around 5500 where the trick flow will give u more top end.

so far the car is FUCKIN FABOLOUS!!!!

TFS1.. thats what I'm about to run. I've heard way more positive things about it. I had an e303 in my old hatch I lost top end around 5300.. good little lope in the E cam, but didn't give me the top end power I was looking for.

The stage I cam is a great choice for you application but keep in mind if you are going to keep the stock heads you will need to due the spring upgrade as well. If you plan on changing the heads in the near future I would just do the cam swap at the same time.

If you have any questions please feel free to call our tech line at 330-630-1555.

Thank you, Gregg

put the e cam in it for now its really not that hard to do and you will see how easy it really is to its just an intake and intake gaskets..e cam you wont need to change springs

ecam with stock heads will be slower than a stock cam. You'll lose the only place the stock heads make power...down low/mid range.
