what would be better for boost 331 or 347 some say 331 (3.2500) some say 347 (3.4000) i always thought a 347 stroke was to large for boost and benfits more from na or nitrous and that a 331 stroke is perfect for boost just want some opions for building a bullet proof short block also what are some good companys that make stroker kits

what block?
if youre going 4 bolt block..
Big bore is going to be your best bet..
I would do a 3.25 and a 4.125 big bore 347.It would be good match for your 185's
too large for boost? who told you this? [ December 01, 2011, 11:54 AM: Message edited by: CornOil_&_Boost ]

it's not the engine that determines that...it's the tune/combo

once again...the engine itself, in your case, has nothing to do with that

Are you using a factory block? If so save a ton of cash. Go 306 forget all the stroker stuff because after 450-500hp youre askin to split the block anyway....

Dss Good luck... I've lived and learned I rather pay more and have an engine built local. I've seen and owned mail order engines and will never be down that road again
