is it possible to cut the rear springs on a foxbody alittle to drop the back? or would i have to get lowering springs? the front is already dropped with bbk springs and the rear sits alittle higher than i like. lol
thanks

Nothing wrong with cut springs, as long as you have a decent set of struts & shocks. Start by chopping off a 1/2 coil to see how u like it. Its pretty easy to remove & reinstall rear springs on a stang. If 1/2 coil isn't enough, cutoff another 1/4 coil at a time until u get the desired drop.... A 93 Cobra uses 4 cylinder springs from the Factory but doesn't seem to lower it much.

1 cut coil off rear stock v8 springs gives it the right ride height in the rear in my opinion not slammed and not 4x4 either [ December 01, 2011, 10:22 AM: Message edited by: CobraCoupe ]
