My fuel isn't reading proper levels!! Its up one minute down the other!!

Suggestion on fixing the problem is appreciated!!! Thanks

Pull the sending unit and check the condition of the float.

Levels! (Example) I've filled it up and the gauge only reads half a tank .

Is it a simple fix?? I've pulled my gas tank and changed the fuel pump before!

mines doin the same thing. i put 4 gallons in and it said i have a half tank, then next time i started it its says empty, then goes to quarter tank, then empty, then back to half. lol i need to find out whats wrong with mine also.
