Try loosening your clutch cable just a little bit

For the time being you can just use WD-40 or some kind of spray-lubricant, open the inspection cover that the cable goes into and spray the TOB.

Also wondering the old owner said he changed the stock trans with an older one that looked a little differrnt when the stock one went bad,do i need to be running a older clutch cable? And do i still get a 01 throwout and clutch?

What? If you spray WD-40 on the TOB, you're going to get it all over the clutch. Lubricants on the clutch disc is no bueno.
