Does anyone know why no.7 is designed to have a different spark pattern then the rest? In the distributor the wheel has a more narrow "tooth" for no.7.
This is on a 94 GT.
Is this the same on earlier foxes?
Shows on an engine analyzer , and physically if you measure the wheel.
Thanks.

Its more like the underside of the rotor. Rotor mounts on wheel.

Its called a hall effect sensor not points. it uses the area between the spaces to build a charge in the coil then fire at the break. ( if i remember correctly lol) but to answer your question no i am not sure but would like to see what others say.
