you could use your 87 harness and add the MAF harness to it and use a a9l ive done a couple theres a site that has alot of info for the conversion

California 88 or 89 is the computer harness needed to convert to MAF The only difference between the CA88 and 89 harness is the MAF meter connector, they used a Hitachi sensor which had a rectangle plug whereas 1989 used the common oval style plug. VERY easy to change connector to oval style without cutting the wires by changing the plastic connector. These harnesses are almost a simple plug and play, the only connectors which are different than the 87, non CA88 is the TAB and TAD solenoids on the back of the passenger strut tower. The connectors for these two small solenoids are different and the connectors need to be changed or the solenoids themselves.

Thanks for all the help ima do that 89 harness anyone want to trade a 90 harness with ecu for a 89 barness it's still on my other car
