+1. contoller and relay are really the way to go. ur gunna run to output channels to the 2 leads at ur found (power and ground) and u will have inputs for ignition power, ground, ac clutch relay power, and engine temp. should kick on at 180 and cut off at 170 going by the controllers ive seen.

i used a torqflo brand adjustable controller from autozone ($18) and a 40 amp relay ($6) and works perfect no issues its been hooked up for a year now. using it with dual contour fans
