Showed codes saying that cylinder 2 and 4 were misfiring,, (hence he took it the the dealer a week earlier and they said it sounds like a bad coil).. So i change to coils, and It still idles rough but doesnt sputter when taking off.. What else could it be??

Probably another bad coil. They only change bad ones. Those engines burn them out. Common issue.

is this a 6 or 8 cyl? i honestly would have replaced all the coils. they are a common failure.

its a v8... if all of them are bad, why did it just throw a code of just 2 and 4??

my oldest sister had one of these nothing but problem after problem, she nded up trading it for a tahoe

Theres a recall on those cars for the coils and spark plugs. Look into it u might be able to get ford to cover it.

My moms thunderbird has the same engine with the same issue. Ford has replaced 7 of them so far.
