Im in the middle of a 4.6 swap into a 68 fastback and I was wondering who makes a low profile booster and master combo that will clear the 4.6? Also does anyone make a hydrolic slave kit to work with factory pedals or am I going to be adapting an aftermarket set-up?

Wilit will chime in with the clutch pedal info.
Have you considered a hydro boost unit like the 4.6 cars typically use?

Note on the master cylinder: Regardless of power or manual, you'll need a master with drivers-side outlets, otherwise your brake lines will head straight into the valve cover. Modern aluminum masters generally have a thin body with a plastic reservoir which work great and sit above the cover. Our favorite for these swaps is the 1997 Explorer master cylinder, and it can be had out of the box in either 4-wheel or 2-wheel disc varieties. Just make sure you opt for a "new" one and not a rebuild, as the rebuilds will not usually come with the reservoir. Also, many aftermarket brake kits will come with a master, check on the specifics when ordering.

Here is the progress on the car so far- Everyone ive talked to cant give me an answer on a 3 valve conversion clearing a power brake booster. So for now weve fabbed the trans mount and finsihed the suspension swap while we are waiting on pieces to build the motor mounts.
I cant believe how clean this car is especially since it came from Idaho and has been there all its life. The gas tank was rotted through but not one rust hole in the floor. Since we had the suspension and drive train out we talked him into spraying a bed liner on the underside.



its a snug fit but they do go in, i didnt think it was as bad as everyone made it out to be. 
we had to notch the oil pan an inch and notch the inner brace on the hood but everything will clear under a stock hood

heidts mustang 2 set-up


the donor car had some larger aldan coilovers that we decided to use. We tied the hoops into the unibody- I dont have a ton of experience with these mustangs but if this isnt sufficient Ill ad some down bars from the firewall to the front of the subframe

got the brakes, fuel and clutch conversion all figured out. Last but not least dirve by wire. I didnt get the pedal with the motor. Will a cable actuated throttle body off a lightening work?
