I went to install a flex-a-lite 175 fan and turns out it won't fit between my 8-rib crank pulley for the SC and my 3 row radiator, took a tape measure and measured between the face of the pulley to rad and it was just over 4 inches, the fan I have is a Lil over 4 inches in depth so it looks like I will need something around 3 inches or under 4 to fit has anyone ran into this? What did you end up using?? [ July 10, 2011, 01:39 PM: Message edited by: CobraCoupe ]

I am running the Ford Contour dual fans on my procharged 342. With the 8 rib pulley set up I have plenty of room. I use an aftermarket aluminum radiator and a Derale dual fan controller and have no problems what so ever. Being a daily driver I was concerned about sitting in traffic when it's 80 or 90 degrees outside, but it never gets hot. I was like you, concerned about clearance, but the Contour set up is extremely low profile and looks very sanitary if done right.
