I got 10" wide dd bullitts with a 5/16" spacer and sits perfectly flush on rolled fenders with no rubbing ever, lowered 1.5" in the back. Looks the same as an sn95 rear end with 8" wide rims but i could go up to 315's instead of 255's

No there are no difference when you buy aftermarket wheels. The offset in the rear are 05 offset which is 40-42mm offset depending on wheel design.
If you're going to a factory 03-04 bullit wheel and a 05-06 bullitt wheel, they maybe different, but didn't own either, so can't truely confirm on this. But companies that make replica wheels, (Cobra, Bullitt, saleen, and anything else) they typically have 1 cast/pattern for each style.
Doing it this way, isn't doing it wrong, it's just another way of getting what you want.
