hey guys. right now my car is making 466hp and 444tq at the wheels. i am on a deployment right now and get back this fall. after i get back i want to make 600+ at the wheels. right now i have a 331. ported edelbrock performers .512/.512 226/236 @.50 with a 114 lobe sep. and 6-8 lbs of boost. also ported upper and lower cobra intake. i can build a big block chevy blind folded but never got deep into fords so i was wondering what would be the best heads/cam combo. was also thinking about more boost and a snow performance meth kit. i was thinking about the twisted wedge heads but have read that the valve train geometry on those was not that good for street use. i dont have to worry about emissions so i dont need C.A.R.B. legal shit. thanks guys [ April 14, 2011, 05:32 AM: Message edited by: BlownSnake95 ]

You will need a 351 or better 302 block for that.

that is one of the most powerful N/A 331's, especially with those heads, I think I have ever seen...
but if you want to make that power.....turbo kit...

Twisted Wedges and a TFS-R intake, I daily drove my car with Twisted Wedges no problems at all. Turn up the boost 10-12lbs and you will have fun.

Well if you want to protect yourself and make over 500 at the wheels you better get an aftermarket block otherwise you will probably destroy your heads, cam, intake etc etc.
I am puttin a motor together right now that had a split stock block. He is gonna just turn down the boost

302's can sit at 450-500 RWHP Reliably before splitting down the center. However, if you pick up a dart block and swap the everything into that, get a bottom end girdle they are about $100. Then get slightly thicker headgasket and blower cam and set yourself around 10 PSI to start.
