I only have put on the top gear, the one on the camshaft and it is hell of hard to turn now. So my question is: Is this normal? I can still turn it by hand, but it is kind of hard. I don't hear it rubbing when I turn it, but I don't know if it needs to "ware" in. If over a few miles it runs better or not, and lessens up. <br /><br />If ya got one installed on your 302/6 let me know if you have any advice. Every thing else is the same. I just pulled the cam and lifters and just spun the cam without the gear on, was easy, then with was hard. Don't even have the lifters in yet.<br /><br />Might it be the plate the holds the cam in place? Could I have tightened the bolts too much? <br /><br />I don't know what a torringtone bearing is. Other then a bearing. As for the gear drive, R/S racing gear drive. And I dont know about the spacer, I am using mostly stock stuff at the moment. But at the moment it is only a cam and a gear in there.
