So this is what I have, or building to, 1969 coup with stock rear end (2.75s or what ever it is) and c4 trans. The Block is the original 69 block, but with a .030 over on it.
It is efi out of a 86 with a 90 A1L computer, logitec chipped. Have not switched to the mass air yet, but will be done before I Start the car.
This is what I am putting on it atm: Just ordered a C&L 73mm mas air set to 24# injectors, and the 24 pound injectors to go with it. Brand new Pro Products typhoon Intake, with a 70mm Pro Products TB. A cam equivalent to an E-303 cam, but mine is mechanical flat tappet, so not the E cam. And some e-7s with 2.01 intake and 1.98 exhaust ports. 1.6 roller rockers. And just to be loud, noisy gear drive instead of a chain.
So what I am looking for is an idea of how much, just a ball park, of HP and 1/4 mile time Thanks guys.

Not knowing the comp ratio or converter and cyl head I'm guessing 260-290rwhp and maybe a 14.50 on street tires hard to guess tho

Your car probably came with a 2.79 or 3.00 rear end. You need to ditch those gears and get something better if you want a decent ET.

i agree, those 2.7x gears and that 2.46 first gear are gonna kill your ET's. just to throw a number out there im gonna say 14.8@93mph [ March 21, 2011, 12:35 PM: Message edited by: MauriSSio ]

won't the gear drive confuse the knock sensor? I thought a gear drive on an EFI car was a no-no.

About 3700lbs.
And I don't know about the knock sensor. Anyone else know.
As the car sat with a stock 302 with a 30 over and 86 intake and tb and 19lbs I was at 15 flat at 92. Witch is slow.

I just noticed something in your combo. You say you're using a "mechanical flat tappet" cam and E7 heads. When you say mechanical flat tappets, are you using solid lifters or hydraulic? Cause if they're solid, generally you need to run a little bit of valve lash, like .015-.020. I'm pretty sure you can't do that with E7 heads because they use pedestal rockers. Crane makes a retro fit kit to run stud mount rockers on pedestal mount heads. You might want to check into that.

Update: after talking to some custom ford guy today he said i actually have a hydraulic flat tappet cam, not mechanical. Was told that I can run a mechanical but it is even more work that I would have to do. So back to summit it goes, Ordered a new cam with 284duration and 512 lift.

So you sent the hydraulic cam back? What did you order instead?

Sent the Mechanical back and ordered the hydraulic instead. Being the 248 duration and 512 lift.

get some 355 gears and a converter. those will make the most difference. or switch to a t5 and do 3:73's-4:11"s. your almost there bud your building a nice little combo.

I'm thinking he meant he had a hydraulic flat tappet in his engine and that it would take too much work to make the solid flat tappet cam to work, so he sent it back and is getting a hydraulic flat tappet cam to rePlace it.

New guess 14.5@95-96mph if your car really ran 15.0@92mph stock. Does 3700lbs include driver?

About 3700lbs, give or take a little.
And not a stock car to start with, had a 0.030 over and fuel injection out of an 86.
15 flat at 92. I think I still have the slips somewhere, maybe glove box.
