You have to grind about 1-2 mm of metal from the spindle for it to clear. Google it theres a lot of pics of where to grind it.

I have 2003 Cobra brakes installed on 1995 mustang spindles and didn't have to grind anything off. It bolted right up with no fitment issues. Maybe there are spindles that does and some that doesn't(?). I found something for you anyways in case you need to.

94-98 are different spindles 94-95 with curved steering arm has a rough casting that in most cases needs to be clearanced for installation of either 99+ PBR or Cobra/Bullitt/Mach1 calipers. 96-98 Has enough clearance for a direct bolt on. Some of the 94/95 spindles require more clearancing while some require less as there is a large variance in castings. I have clearanced ALOT of the 94/95 spindles (about 50 sets) for the sets I sell.
