i had edelbrock proformer rpm 5.0 heads with 1.6 rockers with a matching rpm 2 intake an E-303 cam best smog legal setup i ran in my old 92 notch ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

way better numbers than trickflow and edelbrock one of the best heads on the market

i have both edelbrock and AFRs....rpms arnt smog legal may need notching if using 2.02...but for smog legal TRICKFLOW are the ones ,better cam selection since they arnt a inline head,and you can run a 2.02 without notching pistons...if i wasnt hard headed and broke i woulda went with a trickflow

they have dynoed the same motor with afr 165 and 185s and the 165s make more power...

cmon dude those are numbers they ADVERTISE on their website for their COMPETITION 185 heads but heres what ive found for the STANDARD 185cc afr vs TFS TW 190cc. Cross sections are a bit bigger for the TFS though which help if you want to "grow" into then. Cant go wrong with either AFR or TFS though.

seen to many posts with cracked Trick flows around the sparkplug location , Id go with a set of AFR's with upgraded springs and studs.or if if ur on a budget just get the Eddies

and I've seen a ton of AFR's with stripped out rocker stud holes.
I'm happy with my TFS TW's, great heads for a stock shortblock.
