i have a 93 gt and one of the really hard hoses on my fuel rail got crimped and i called autozone and kragen and they both said thats a dealership item anybody ever replaced one of those?? do i have to go to the dealership?? any info is appreciated?

dealership? they dont no what theyre talking about most theyre employees dont know anything besides what the computer tells them after they hit search... i would look up some part outs best bet in my opinion

is it the actual fuel rail or the metal line that conneccts to the fuel rail?

your best bet is to find a used fuel rail off a cafords member i think it is a dealer part, theyre pretty easy to find

ok thanks i just went to autozone and they gave me some rubber hose thats rated for fuel and up to 50lbs of pressure and some hose clamps i dont see why that wont work?? i would really prefer the proper hard plastic ones but they guranteed it should work?? they said my fuel system is 35-40lbs of pressure??

even if i was to find one there pushed on to a barbed fitting and pulling them off would be nearly impossible. i might just take my chances with this fuel rated rubber hose

dont see the harm as long as ur not contaminating your fuel.. spell that right?? throw it on and youll see if it works if you dont have a fire under ur hood while drivin

buy some fuel lines and replace them yourself, i did and it worked fine.
