hey guys. i know alot about carbed cars not so much fuel injected. this is my first blown car and its fuel injected. the past couple days i noticed the car is down on power and using alot more gas then it used to and some times i can hear it pop through the intake. its a 331in vortech v-1 s-trim. ported edelbrock performer heads, ported upper and lower cobra intake. 24# injectors and a 255lph intank pump. while sitting here writing this timing came to my head cause of hte popping through the intake. could that cause the problem? any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks guys

Id check and make sure your 02 sensors are good. My 87 lost a 02 once, and i went through a tank of gas in 100miles. Maybe a compression test too?

I do apologize that this is off topic but you said you are using 24# injectors and that seems a bit on the small side for a seemingly healthy setup such as a 331 with an s-trim. Also if you were dumping excess fuel that didn't burn your O2 sensors are most likely a wash.
