Looking for a good shop to build my motor.351w..I'm looking to get a 418 stroker or bigger all forged with AFR heads!! Any ideas on the shops I can go to and the prices to build a good set up? 600+HP.thanks in advance

Robs machine if u want it to break..or daves machine ,aed,s&s or m&m..al hubbard on meekland is reasonable

Strokerengines.com is koo..gave me the bbest deal on my AFRs and misc parts.like oil pans,rockers,head upgrades etc

Daves machine and aed are neck and neck with price,can't loose on either.had a firend who started at aed and ended up at daves

AED specifies different clearances than what you get going straight to Motor Machine.
Even with the exact same parts, the motors are not built/machined the same.

I still say having a motor built in California is too expensive. Labor rate is cheaper out of state, a place like Keith Craft in Arkansas and Bennett Racing in Alabama is going to be way cheaper, if you are going to build a serious race motor.
