I have a 88 mustang gt, and I swapped to the cobra five lug brakes. I'm using stock springs. The ball joints are bad and I need new joints. Does n e one have an idea if there is a difference between the stock 88 gt ball joints and the ball joints for the 93 mustang? TY for n e help, really appreciate it.

Thanks for your reply. but I'm not sure if you mean that I should get the 94 ball joints. And if so do the fit on the 88 A control arm? I know the cobra brakes had a shorter stem on the ball joint. So is that why you say go with the 94 ball joint?

the only thing changed was the stem length. they will work with your 88 control arms. its a direct swap. taking about the ball joints

+1 the 94-up ball joints work great w/ sn95 spindles, no spacer needed, and fit in fox body a-arms (have to be removed & replaced with a press)
