Found this posting on another web site. Sorry if it's already been posted here.
CARB announced that, starting in mid 2013, cars and trucks will only need to pass an OBDII diagnostic test, rather than the OBDII diagnostic test plus a tailpipe sniffer test. Unfortunately, those of us with 99 and older cars will still need to do the sniffer test.

maybe in 2013 i can afford an 03 cobra haha. Link doesnt work for me btw.
