I had an 85 capri with 93 lx front and rear fascia with a HCI 306 and some nitrous in about 2000. It had a gear drive in it and I fuckin loved it, gay as it was.
Turned heads everywhere.

I would get a good cloyes timing chain and call it a day. Back when I was young and retarded just out of high school, I had a gear drive on my 90 with a 347. Sound was cool for a while, but they do rob some power as well.

X2,belt drive is the very best way to go. A gear drive is way more acurate then a chain and if you have very good valve train and the car is for racing only that would be the way to go, if not i would stay away from gear drive they produce ALOT of valve train vibration
