Just buy a kit from summit or jegs comes with all the connectors and terminals pretty sure it's 0 guage. If you don't wanna wait for it pretty sure Vic hubbard sells a kit Morgans machine n marine sells one and if you can't find em there west marine sells a 25ft kit. 0 guage is all you need pretty sure a mustang starter doesn't pull anymore than 90 amps so it's plenty big.

I think I bought 8 ft of welders cable from Dale/Ace Hardware. It got a little pricey.

I'm forddude510/86gt pretending to be a moderator. At first I thought it would be funny to change my name and act like a mod. Now the real mods have caught on and locked in this signature so I can't change it. I probably don't think it's funny anymore, but I like their sense of humor!

I dont have any pics but I ran it to the actual frame rail right by where the gas filler tube goes by lil tricky tho. I was able to drill a 3/8hole thru right by where there's a lil square hole in the frame and stick a 3/8 bolt down it. I'll see if I can get a pic up later. Just make sure u hit the surface with a wire wheel or somethin

pull up your trunk/hatch carpet and you'll see there's 2 rubber plugs in the floor by the shock towers, personally I ran a 1/0 gauge wire for the ground and the main power run from the switch. I used the drivers side plug for the ground wire, it goes into that plug and wraps up and around the frame rail and is bolted to the frame rail with one of the quad shock mounting bolts.

The main power line (1/0 awg switch to starter) and the alternator feed (8 awg alternator to switch on same side as the battery 1/0 + line) I ran through the passenger side plug in the trunk.

Have never had a starting or electrical issue with my setup.
