My AOD to T5 Swap is done, and works great, but I never hooked up the reverse light harness.
Can someone explain the basics about installing the harness. What does it hook up to exactly?
There's a few wires under the driver's side of the car, that I've tied together to override circuit so the car can start. Some of those wires control the back up lights too, I think. So, I'm assuming the harness connects to those wires. But from there, where do I route the harnass, and what else does it attach to? The neutral safety switch? or does it go inside the car?

the harness plugs by the drivers kick panel and runs across the seat rail under the carpet to the tranny hump into the little hole u will need that harness for the reverse. the wires in the tranny tunnel u will need to take them out just replace with the 5speed reverse harness same way in same way out

If you've already tied the two together to allow it to start, the NSS is out of the picture. The other two wires that are left..? Reverse lights. There's a switch on the driver's side of the transmission...two prongs. Looks similar to this: Get two push-on connectors and splice them on the ends. Doesn't matter what post you attach them to on the switch, it'll work.
