Have an 87 Saleen 5.0, took off upper intake to change valve covers and gaskets, new covers were taller, bought a phenolic 1/2" spacer, got spacer and gaskets, got 4 bolts started, the last two at the back by the firewall, what a PITA..... Will go back at it tomorrow, seems that the manifold rocks a little, tried tightening down 2 of the 4 bolts that are started, also, spacer came with new bolts 1/2" longer than stock. Usually have luck with fresh start the next day. I welcome any suggestions. Thanks.
