Topic: Anyone run one of these balancers?

Just wondering if anyone had any input on the quality of these balancers. It's going on a street car, so it probably won't see any track duty.

im running one.. i like the fact that mine has the counterweight machined into the part that bolts to the crankshaft (the hub of the balancer if you will) and the outer ring perfectly balanced.. that way no matter how fast i spool up the motor or how bad it shakes i know i will always have a perfect harmonic balancer on.
no need for a new one unless you think you spun your stock one. thats why i replaced mine.

The rubber is coming apart on the stock one and there's a big chunk missing. Time to replace it. Plus this is going on a new motor. Thanks for the review. I haven't found very much stuff online about these balancers.

well i dont think i spent 150 on my balancer... i think my weight is machined into the hub not bolted in.... anyway mine has the same design and that one looks good. ill have to check on which one i got but i think it was cheaper.. cant remember exactly but that looks right other than the price.
once you get a top line balancer you wont have to think about that being a problem if / when you get a vibration.

looks identical to the summit racing sfi balancer I have on my `89, good quality part but it's "universal" and has lots of timing marks on it, which freaked out a smog tech I went to.
I solved that by taking it off, painting it with black engine paint, and putting a timing tape over the marks that are for my motor...
