yes when your on the trans brake you will make lots of heat an heat what cuase this trans to burn the clutches

i dont have a fan on mine, i just put the biggest trans cooler i could fit...good luck

i dont run one trans temp never goes over 180 alot of non turbo or supercharged cars dont run them you would a trans temp gauge

running a fan on the cooler is just a smart idea since most people spend 2 to 5k on a trans
