Bought a mustang roller, got it running and it had a locking gas cap, any ideas of best way to break it off

a large screw driver and a hammer. force the screwdriver into the lock and turn the driver to remove the gas cap.

I rapped little string around it and pulled it before and it came apart that's only because I didn't wanted to scratch the car but if you don't car bout the big flat head and take it apart the top part is snapped on to the bottom good luck.

Plus 1 to the flat head ........joe they usually unlock with jusss a turn of a flat head screwdriver
