i bought my boys 89 and he had removed the original column from the car. but he had a extra one that he had bought from matt with out a key. my question is removing that without a key safly so there is no damage to the rest of the steering column. i already bought a new ignition with two keys and i wanted to put that in. whats the best and safe way?

Me and my friend had this dilemma before, we didn't want to eff it all up so we drove over industrial (where all the shops are) and found a small steering column shop. We asked how much he wanted to get the cylinder out, he said no charge, took the steering column w/ him and came back 2 minutes later with the column completely unharmed, pretty sure he just carefully drilled it out...
