so i took my mustang out to santa cruz for the weekend and while cruising around town I would come up to a stop sign and not be in gear and the car would just die. Other times I would be in gear with clutch pushed in waiting to go and it would die. Any ideas?

it could be the vehicle speed sensor, vss, going out. kind of rare, but it does happen. it's screwed onto the side of the transmission.

I had this same problem on two different cars. Turned the idle up on one and the other was the map sensor was a little dirty.
