I have a 393w and i am going to install a tfs stage 3 cam in and was wondering if it will make enough vacuum to run my power brakes? Or will i have to go manual brake?

Cam Specs:

RPM Range - 3,200-6,800 RPM
Duration @ .050" - 236°/248°
Valve Lift with 1.6 Rocker - .574/.595
Lobe Separation - 110°

The person to ask would be the cam manufacturer. But I swapped to MM's manual brake conversion and am very pleased. Lots more room in the engine bay with the booster gone and the pedal effort is not too bad. You can tell right away that you don't have assist, but I think the tradeoff is worth it. You can definitely use the extra room if you are running a 351w.

nope. it wont have enough! and i agree that more room would be nice, and then maybe my brakes would work better. mine has a carb, and when its cold, it wants to idle too low, it doesnt wanna stop! need the manual brake conversion. my cam is smaller than that, and it pulls around 6 or 7 inches of vacuum. different profile, and its a 106 degree lobe seperation which kills vacuum. just switch it over to manual brakes!
